World Humanitarian Day
Greetings and Blessings
Humanity embodies various meanings, referring to all human beings as well as the status and quality of being human, and the nature of human characteristics. But more importantly is its emphasis on the humane state, conduct, and behavior, which inescapably burdens humanity’s shoulders with responsibilities that are more spiritual, and knowledge based, including ethics, altruism, spirituality, understanding, insightfulness, sacrifice, etc.
It doesn’t matter how much science one has access to or how much philosophy one knows. What truly matters is how enlightened and dedicated human being is to be committed to morality. Because all human miseries from long ago to nowadays are due to the lack of commitment to morality and spiritual knowledge which causes countless catastrophes we observe today. The immorality of statesmen and the ignorance of the majority of the rulers of people’s affairs throughout history, the massacres and looting of nations have been among such consequences.
Science and technology in the hands of the ignorant human have become the means of self-destruction. This ignorance and immorality have always put the collar of slavery on the necks of human beings in various shapes, never allowing them to be happy and taste prosperity and freedom, from traditional slavery, human trafficking, and political slavery to today’s modern slavery, which in not-too-distant future is going to prepare the ground for destruction, bigger captivity, and a catastrophe greater than all ages for human being.
All those who assume that humankind no longer needs morality, spirituality, and wisdom, and that only science can replace all, are certainly unaware of the depth of the coming disaster, and perhaps they are the beneficiaries of such proceeding, and among the few administrators of the future world or its agents!!
And…
At the end: I congratulate the World Humanitarian Day to those who believe in humanity, its inherent dignity and spiritual glory. I hope that humanity can recognize the value and significance of its high status and reach it. This important matter calls for the efforts of all free-thinkers and enlightened human beings around the world.
The “Interuniversalism” school founded by me several decades ago, by emphasizing the dignity of humanity and in its way of resisting all slavery, specifically the modern slavery ahead, considers any act of enlightenment as its rightful mission.
In addition: For all those who have attempted and fought in any way possible for the elevation of humanity in general, and for the dignity and awareness of the Iranian nation in particular, or are in this holy struggle, we pray for the divine mercy, and on this day which is also the anniversary of the coup of August 19, 1953, we commemorate the late Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh, one of the defenders of the rights of the Iranian nation.
