World Day for International Justice 2026

In the Name of God

Greetings and Blessings,

Hereby, I once again express my profound grief and regret over the recent attacks against Iran, and firmly condemn any aggression against our nation, as well as all movements that have treacherously supported foreign intervention. This invasion, which targeted national infrastructure belonging to the Iranian people, and endangered the lives of thousands of innocent human beings, is an unprecedented event in our nation’s history—one that will be etched forever in the collective memory of the Iranian people.

In these bitter times, the loss of our dear compatriots has deeply grieved the hearts of us all. I extend my sincere condolences to the bereaved families and survivors, and I stand with them in their deep sorrow. May peace, security, and national solidarity once again prevail over our beloved country.

Statement on World Day for International Justice

July 17, the World Day for International Justice, marks a significant step toward the realization of global criminal justice; a day when the international community honors the establishment of the International Criminal Court (ICC). As the first permanent international institution mandated to prosecute genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, and the crime of aggression, this court stands as a symbol of humanity’s quest to uphold human dignity and combat impunity.

Despite these achievements, the world today is in greater need than ever of a revitalized framework for Novel Human Rights and the rights of our planet Earth; the sole habitat for all living beings. Current global policies often stand in stark contrast to reason, justice, human dignity, and environmental stewardship. Warmongering, opportunism, greed, and power-driven rivalries threaten the most basic human rights including the right to life, housing, food, clothing, education, and healthcare. The consequence of these policies is the mass displacement and forced migration of millions of people who had no role in these fateful decisions.

In such circumstances, the existence of an independent, impartial, and effective International Criminal Court is an undeniable necessity; an institution capable of addressing violations of international human rights and environmental laws without discrimination, applying a single, universal standard. As today, parts of science and technology are being weaponized against humanity and nature rather than serving them, often masking anti-human actions behind a veneer of humanitarian concern. A rigorous examination of international policies reveals that a significant portion of them is not only failing to serve humanity but are fundamentally detrimental to both people and the planet.

International Social Justice means establishing equal rights for all nations and holding all governments accountable before a single, universal law; a law dedicated to safeguarding human dignity and protecting the Earth. Such equality, free from coercion, lobbying, and hegemony, can ensure the security, tranquility, and fundamental rights of all people, preventing the subjugation of nations by authoritarian powers. In a world where international relations are built on equal rights, nations will be safeguarded from external harm and empowered to resolve their internal matters with peace and independence.

World Day for International Justice is an opportunity to reaffirm the truth that justice is not merely a slogan, but a vital necessity for the survival of humanity and the Earth; a necessity that can only be achieved through global solidarity, respect for human rights, and the strengthening of independent international institutions.
