In the Name of God
Greetings and Blessings,
With profound grief and sorrow, and while resolutely condemning any attack against Iran—as well as all movements that support such aggression—I offer my deepest condolences to the families and survivors of our dear compatriots who have lost their lives, and I share in their heavy burden of grief.
Today, more than ever, the Iranian nation is in need of peace, security, and distance from destructive tensions to prevent further slaughter, the devastation of the country, the destruction of infrastructure, and to preserve our territorial integrity. This is especially true for the noble people of the southern regions of our country, who have been under the pressure of extensive attacks and profound anxiety in recent days.
It is my hope that in the shortest possible time, the shadow of war will be lifted from Iran, the military threats of foreign powers will come to an end, and rationality will replace violence—allowing our country to return to a path of stability, peace, and a life worthy of all its people. (This is all the more urgent considering that Iran is the fifth wealthiest nation in the world, despite possessing only one percent of the global population. This nation deserves the finest of lives.)
