World Day of Social Justice: Equal Social Rights for All in Sharing the National Wealth

“Social  justice” means the establishment of equal rights for all human beings so that without any discrimination, everyone can enjoy the political, social, economic, cultural advantages and facilities, and in general, all the material and intellectual assets of any society, which are obviously created by employing the national wealth; and by observing human rights that consider the rights of everyone, making the possibility of a peaceful life available for all individuals in a peaceful manner.

The realization of “social justice” has been one of the long-standing aspirations of humankind, and many human lives have been taken for it throughout history. Therefore, on the face of it, this is one of the most unattainable but rightful desires of human beings. It is worth pondering that since the beginning of human history, the establishment of “social justice” has not altered much in terms of its realization, as only the form and type of this rightful human demand has changed according to the modern world and its effects, and this ongoing lack of access to it has caused a terrible class difference all over the world, which has never been so severe in history. The wealth of 1% of the world’s capitalists is equivalent to the total wealth of the other 99%, which obviously has no rational and logical justification.

The failure to fulfill this rightful demand at the global level has created a distorted image, and it is necessary to add principles to the “novel human rights” in order to control it. Nations have always been under the pressure of looters and plunderers, and there have always been factors that intrude with that natural right of the masses. The most important one is that despotic and dictatorial governments who have no other goal than plundering and looting the nation and the national wealth. This marks the beginning of many oppressions and brutalities against the nation. Because the oppressors have to resort to killing, looting, torture, and terror so that they can easily break the people’s resistance and engage in looting and exploiting the looted wealth for nothing but self-indulgence and luxury, which is the waste of public money. In this regard, in order for no one to hinder this theft and confiscation, they use violence and keep people busy with unnecessary and useless matters and create charisma for themselves by scaring people. It is obvious that in every age and era, pioneers, awakened, honest, and smart human beings who promptly notice such abuses and try to prevent the looting of the public resources face arrests, tortures, and… Unsurprisingly, this also brings up other issues. For instance, the agents of looting and repression force these pioneers to reveal the names of other like-minded people who accompany them, so that the agents can identify them and get them out of their way. As a result, they employ torture and unconventional methods, and to justify such inhumane behaviors, they have to make labels such as saboteurs, rioters, terrorists, foreign agents, etc., so that the security agents who are implementing repression are completely convinced as if they are serving to eliminate terrorists and saboteurs, and also people cannot realize the true story. This scenario has always been repeated throughout history, and in this way, prisons, torture centers, and repressive mercenary forces are formed, and violations of social justice occur, which has historically been going on in Iran in various forms, whether in the previous regime, the current one, or much before.

In general, “social justice” encompasses a wide variety of meanings and concepts. Among them: the fair allocation of a country’s material and intellectual resources at the service of the whole diversity of that nation, the fair distribution of national capital, and the provision of the necessary conditions for the people to equally benefit from their “national per capita income”. This important subject has a significant role in eradicating poverty, corruption, unemployment, prostitution, illiteracy, false jobs, etc. Also, providing access to social welfare, with the bare minimum of “national health insurance”, “national employment insurance”, “national free education”, and… which, as a result of its implementation, will have a great impact on reducing the rate of social harms of addiction, divorce, child labor, homelessness, etc. Providing basic human needs can eliminate the economic factor of social harms and reduce a significant portion of its statistics caused by economic poverty. Some of these damages are solely due to economic pressures, as diverse populations of society cannot benefit from their share of the national income, and as a result, they are unable to play an effective and constructive role in that society. Instead, the national income goes to the agents involved in the corrupt systems, while the masses of people are grappling with more poverty and corruption day by day.

Moreover, the existence of information rents in domineering and predatory systems allows statesmen and associates of the corrupt system to carry out exploits based on the construction projects’ information that other people do not have access to, which consequently results in their gaining windfall wealth in that way. For instance, after purchasing the lands that they knew in advance would be in various urban and industrial plans, at a very cheap price, they have executed the plan and then sold the lands at an extravagant price (ironically, one of the statesmen claimed that his children have a very strong economic sense in construction and knew where to invest!!!). By having connections with different ministries, obtaining various licenses, and purchasing industrial lands and their ancillary facilities, they have sold units and earned huge profits. This issue has always been going on regarding urban and industrial loans, etc. or in all other aspects of the country. This is apart from the fact that the governmental figures have always monopolized all industries and vital economic arteries of the country in various ways for at least the last sixty or seventy years, and they have also owned the revenues from it and have used it for their own benefit, as part of their assets, or transferred it abroad (such as the Pahlavi Foundation and the Ashraf Foundation, which owned all the major factories in the former regime as a monopoly). The complete list of these foundations and their functions is available for review, and after the 1979 Revolution, all of them were confiscated by the newly established foundations that prepared the ground for early financial abuses by the agents of this regime and their affiliates). In fact, the main reason behind the captivity of the plundered nation of Iran by this regime was the existence of social injustice and the looting of the national wealth in the former regime. Today, some are trying to change history and rewrite it in a different way to reclaim these national treasures and loot them again, unaware of the fact that historical documents bear witness to everything, and the looter is always a looter and cannot be whitewashed, whether in this regime or the previous ones.

Today, we are in a situation that makes it necessary for the Iranian nation to think fundamentally and take a path to avoid falling from the hands of these looters to other looters. Considering that, the main problem of our nation is the issue of “national wealth” that opportunists and… have always focused on, and as we know very well, for them neither the nation and nationalism nor the interests of the nation matter. Rather, they only think about plundering this wealth, and that’s all, and what is called “social justice” is nothing more than a joke for them. But they should know that it is only the will of the nation that will rule, and this time by not looking for a person as a leader, the nation will exercise their will within the framework of a delegation of experts to administer the affairs of the country, and the leadership will never be handed over to any individual alone, who, by taking power, would turn the weapon provided with the nation’s wealth against the nation, so that once again, day after day, the nation would be looted and looted again by the new dictator and his entourage…

I, as an Iranian, in order to establish “social justice” and benefit from the full advantages of national wealth, recommend “the Manifesto of the Free Iran Renaissance” to be studied and examined as a progressive model in this regard, so that the nation can ultimately protect its national interests and wealth by becoming familiar with such a concept and adopting the most effective approach and plan and can protect its national assets against the plunderers by not being “political slaves” in the hands of the incompetents, those who desire uninterrupted and lifelong domination over people’s lives, properties, and honor. They are the ones who come forth with a humbling gesture and pleading at the beginning, but after taking the reins of the affairs, they no longer recognize the nation, and draw weapons against the same people, and will never come down from the throne of power again, considering the nation as their servant and themselves as the God of the people (the topic of “false gods”).
