Subject: International Day for the Abolition of Slavery
Hereby, commemorating the International Day for the Abolition of Slavery, we condemn slavery in essence, and reject any factors that may force people into slavery or lead them to it in the future, including human factors, technological factors, etc., and we deem it necessary and urgent that this phenomenon will be under the control and supervision of human rights circles and they use all their efforts to solve or prevent it from happening.
Principle-1: Rejection of any form of slavery, whether traditional, political or modern
All human beings are inherently free and existentially independent, all with human dignity, respectability and honor. In this sense, no one is superior to the other. Equally, no other factor should adversely affect the innate freedom of humankind and impose slavery on them in any way, any form. Therefore, all human beings have the right to preserve their inborn freedom and inherent dignity and should not be subjected to any type of slavery, especially political slavery and modern (technological) slavery. In this regard, the macro-policies and administration of nations should not be such that people lose their self-esteem being forced to trample this dignity and their honor in order to make a material living.
On the other hand, it is considerable that in the next few years, humans will enter the era of modern slavery, and at that stage, the names and characteristics of individuals will no longer matter, simply becoming an international code; in that case, various aspects of human life will be overshadowed by artificial intelligence, and the ownership and use of personal life facilities will also be dominated by such intelligence. Consequently, the administrators of such technologies will be able to take over others as a kind of slave. In that case, any protest will also cause removing the protestors from the virtual life network, and their international code will be burned, as a result of which, they will no longer be able to use any services and will suffer a somewhat virtual death…
In this view, all free-thinkers, human rights activists, and pro-freedom circles advocating human dignity are encouraged to do their utmost to raise awareness about this matter, for that inalienable human right.
