Ashura, the day of introspection, deep self-contemplation and self-examination and a day to discern which front we are on, whether we are on the side of the truth or falsehood, on the side of the oppressor or against oppression; let us see what we have done in the Ashura of our time and in the Karbala of this era, have we confronted the oppressors or are standing in the ranks of the wicked cruel enemies, are we seeking water, bread and fame or are we seeking the truth, justice, and… We cherish this day and observe ourselves in its full-length mirror to inspect ourselves, away from any justification, excuses, reasoning, or…

I extend my condolences to all supporters of the truth and justice and all those who oppose oppression on the occasion of the martyrdom of the lord of the martyrs and the free spirits.
