Why Do Lifelong Regimes and Governments Inherently Infringe Human Rights?
In the Name of God
Why do lifelong regimes and governments inherently infringe human rights?
Lifetime regimes (monarchy and Islamic regimes, as well as some lifelong republican regimes such as the presidencies of Saddam, Gaddafi, the republic of the Assad family, and other presidencies that are setting up a lifelong plan for themselves) inherently infringe human rights and cannot be democratic in any way, for several reasons:
- As lifelong regimes must think about maintaining their own continuity and survival, lest this permanence and survival be jeopardised, they cannot base their decisions on the people’s votes as a criterion, because the people’s votes may not accord with their remaining in power. Therefore, they are obliged to ignore the people’s opinions and popular votes, turn to tyranny and dictatorship, and deal severely with their opponents. Because, of course, opposing such systems does not make sense in principle. Because in a lifelong system, there is no intention of any change, and as the saying goes, “You must grin and bear it.” And in facing such systems and governments, such as the monarchy or the Islamic regime, since the system is not going to change, therefore opposing it also does not make sense, and as a result, its opponents must definitely be eliminated; opposing it through speech and expression is futile, and the only way to deal with it is to follow an armed approach. Just as in the Shahanshahi regime (the Imperial State), before the public opposition became widespread, all influential groups opposing the imperial system had to follow an armed approach, which led to the killing and wounding of a large number of people, and there was no other way to resistance, which was accompanied by suppression, arrest, execution, and being labelled as saboteurs. Naturally, due to severe repression, no significant success was achieved through the armed approach, and uprisings and unarmed movements, such as the bloody uprising of Khordad 15, 1342 (June 5, 1963), were also severely suppressed and led nowhere, although they turned into a fire under the ashes for the revolution of 1979.
- Lifelong systems of monarchy, the Islamic regime, etc., each must insinuate themselves in such a way as to be permanent and claim that they will be in power for many centuries (of course, after taking power, because before that they present themselves as servants at the service of the people and so), and in such a manner, future generations are deprived of political rights and the right to choose their desired political system, and they will no longer have any rights. And before they are born, all the political, social, and cultural measures that a lifelong system expectedly defines and determines for everyone according to its own interests and benefits are predetermined for them, and everyone is condemned to observe and follow it, otherwise they will be labelled as saboteurs, rioters, etc. For example, when I was born, a version of the monarchy with all its political, social, cultural, etc. frameworks had already been written for me, and I was condemned to follow those frameworks and adjust to them quietly, without the right to protest or have the right to vote or enjoy the national wealth or have a certain share of it. Similarly, anyone born in the Islamic regime is also condemned to accept and follow the framework that a lifelong system has determined for itself and imposes on the nation by force of arms, and so far thousands of people have lost their lives and unfortunately will lose their lives for the reasons of such a condemnation. Because due to political tricks, weapons have fallen into the hands of unscrupulous people who are mad with power, and when the nation is fed up with the oppression and tyranny of a lifelong regime, it is not so easy to take those weapons from them, and it requires decades to pass and the sacrifice of many human lives (in this regard, the nation must be vigilant not to hand the weapons over to just anyone and everyone, and not to create new dictators for themselves again, and not to be fooled by false promises. Just as we were fooled by political games and deception, and the interim government unintentionally paved the way for this dictatorship, and the nation came to its senses when the politicians had badly deceived them, entrapped by deceit, too late to escape).
- Individuals at the head of lifelong regimes (monarchy and Islamic) who call themselves the great kings and leaders (even much more, such as the great gods of the army, Shahanshah Arya Mehr, or the leader of the Muslims of the world and the deputy of the Imam of the time, etc.) in practice consider the country as their own, and they spend the country’s wealth in any way they see fit, and no one has the right to question them or hold them accountable. For example, no one is allowed to ask, “How much is your salary, Mr. Leader?” That is, how much do you personally receive from the treasury each month? Or how much tax do you pay (where all members of the nation pay taxes and everyone is equal before the law)? Such questions are certainly ridiculous and absurd. Because the budget that is at the disposal of the leader is not accounted for and is completely confidential, and he can spend millions of dollars from the nation’s treasury on any matter, right or wrong, with a phone call or a message, and the same is true for the Shah, and to ask about the Shah’s salary is quite absurd. Because the nature of the monarchy requires that the country be recognized as the king’s. For example, Reza Shah, during his 16 years of rule, when he was exiled to the island of Mauritius by the British for the crime of betraying England by making a deal with Germany, which was revealed after the end of World War II, had 4,000 ownership documents of the best properties, all of which were collected through “seizure” from the people and the government, now all belonging to him (in other words, about 21 properties a month), which he was forced to leave behind during his exile in 1320. When Mohammad Reza Pahlavi came to power after the coup of 18 Mordad 1320 (August 9, 1941), to quell public protests, he first transferred all of his father’s real estate to the government for charity, which became the source of the Pahlavi Foundation’s assets (to be discussed in detail later; also, the business and the huge profits resulting from the establishment of another lifelong system for the planners of the uprising will be further discussed). So here Reza Shah, who had no wealth at the beginning, could achieve such wealth within 16 years, and no one may ask how much Reza Shah’s rights from the treasury were supposed to be? The important point is that statesmen have even no need for the treasury. Because through collusion, using privileges, taking bribes, etc., they become the owners of legendary wealth, and no one can ask, Where did you get it from??
