The Fall of a Dictator

The Fall of a Dictator

In the Name of God,

The most beautiful moment in history is the moment a dictator falls.

With the elimination of the decades-long dictator of the lifelong regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran—though this dictatorial system continues its operations and the machinery of tyranny has not yet stopped—history has once again left us with this lesson: that no dictator ultimately has a way of escape. Anyone who ignores the interests of the nation, no matter how many protective forces they surround themselves with, will eventually fall and be annihilated by any means and by any measure. In truth, throughout history, no dictator has ever been able to escape the claws of vengeance or the unwavering laws of historical justice. At this point, unfortunately, the joy of a dictator’s fall has been lost in the grief and sorrow resulting from the loss of life and the sacrifice of a number of our dear compatriots. Specifically, in these first days of attacks, the deaths of a number of schoolgirls at the Minab school—who lost their precious lives during the bombings, leaving many families in mourning—has brought an agonizing sorrow to all those whose hearts beat for this nation and our dear fellow citizens; it has deeply moved and saddened us all. Therefore, I hereby express my condolences to all the families and survivors of the victims of this war. We certainly stand, and will continue to stand, alongside these grieving families, and we consider ourselves partners in their sorrow.

May peace and tranquility embrace this nation as soon as possible; and, as I am concerned the casualties may be far greater than currently imagined, I hope that no further victims will be taken from these noble people.
